School holidays brought out the crowds today, despite the drizzle passenger on board Whale One this morning were treated to some great whale encounters. Tail slaps, Peduncle Throws & Mothers teaching their calves some fun tricks.
The peak of the southern migration is proving to be a fun time for both whales & watchers alike. The calves are so inquisitive and their mothers trying to protect them.
The afternoon cruise passenger on Whale One were also treated to some special mother & calf action.
Tania Edwards our long serving deckhand has decided to further her career in other fields and turned off her zoom for the last shot this afternoon. Her caring nature and loyal support will be missed by one and all. Tania always worked with a spring in her step and a smile. Giving that extra effort when needed.
