The cruise this morning was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather.
The afternoons trip, despite cloudy skies, delivered some fantastic whale activity! The first whales for the afternoon were a mother and calf were spotted 1.5 nautical miles off Point Cartwright. The second mother and calf were spotted 3 nautical miles north-east of Point Cartwright. The calf was extremely playful as he was breaching and tail slapping. The mother was very co-operative and was happy to let him play with us for some time. We left those whales and on our way back we saw 2 adult whales 4.7 nautical miles of Point Cartwright who were travelling south, who gave us some fluke up dives!
