Thursday June 23 – “Whale One” was glad to get her feet wet again with perfect conditions and plenty of whales. 10 nautical miles out the Skipper spied a pod of 5 whales, along with a small shark and and some playful dolphins. The males of the whale pod were competing for attention with plenty of fluke-up dives, perduncle throws and lots of close encounters, with 2 more pods seen in the distance. The calm conditions, gentle swell and sunshine making for a perfect day out once again.
