Morning Whale Report!

A gorgeous day on the Sunshine Coast!
Great conditions for whale watching! The sun is shining, just a light breeze and lazy swell.
2 pods of mothers & calves today!
The first pod, mum was entertaining us with peduncle throws, pec slapping and double pec slapping.
That pair then met up with the 2nd mother & calf pair and they started swimming along together. They then split off again and the calf started breaching.
We also had plenty of close encounters with them, some great fluke up dives and then mum did 2 breaches and the calf another one too!
We also saw 2 turtles, one quite close to the boat and a 2 pods of bottlenose dolphins.
