School holidays and good weather at the same time – these conditions are certainly putting smiles on the faces of a lot of Queenslanders. Winter has certainly gone although threatens to briefly revisit tomorrow. We made the most of it today with another two trips and humpbacks seem to be in no hurry to head back south with most pods that we find just quietly milling around in the bay. The mothers and calves are getting more playful and fairly easily found on nearly every trip this past week. Not the best forecast for tomorrow and we’ve cancelled the morning trip but hope for the front to pass quickly and allow the afternoon to go ahead.
